Big Winner
Oh, and I forgot to mention. Andy didn't take the video back. He MEANT to, he said. The video HAD made it all the way downstairs to the living room. That's some progress...
So, now, who owes me a thousand dollars...?

When the Dealin's Done...
Yep! I'm home! For those of you who haven't already seen it, Flipsycab has the accounting of our Vegas Trip on her blog, so go check it out!
And Stennie will have the photo album up soon, so stay posted for the link!
I had a great time. And it was just like old times hanging out with Sten and Flipsy. Like we'd never been apart, the thanks for which I attribute to blogging and email. Anyway, it was fabulous. I wish that Flipsycab could have stayed the extra day, I even think that she would have liked the Star Trek Experience, although it may have been tough getting her to drop the $25 for it. Stennie and I each got a photo of our head placed on Wesley Crusher's shoulders, so it looks like we're posing with the TNG crew. If hers fits on her scanner, Stennie will post hers online for everybody to see. It's hilarious.
Stennie and I had Deanna Troy's Ultimate Chocolate Sundae at Quark's bar, which was fantastic. On the way to Quarks, we passed a Ferengie, who gave me "a look." I said "Excuse me Ferengie!" as he passed, and he stopped and turned and looked at me. I said "I saw that look you gave me." And the Ferengie said "I always look that way when I see clothed females."
But the Star Trek shuttlecraft ride did make me a little woozy, probably due to the number of Vodka-Crans I'd had that morning. I may have lost $35 gambling in Vegas, but I more than made up for it in free drinks!
And what is it about Vegas cocktail waitresses? Why can't they just call out "Cocktails!" like a normal person? Why do they all say "Cyack-tyails?" in this wimpy ditzy whine? Same with the Keno ladies... "Kyeenyo?" Sounds like they're calling their lost dog or something. Stennie and I also had two waitresses at dinner who were sharing the English language. Apparently one was only allowed to use consenants, and the other was permitted only to speak in vowels. It's not easy to be alert enough to understand that "I eee aii aaaa i oooo aaaa aaaa" means "I'll be right back with your salads." and still be drunk enough to be getting your money's worth. I'm sorry, I didn't get that. I've had too many cyack-tyails...
I was very very sad to see Vegas retreating in the rear-view mirror (although you can still see it for MILES as you're leaving. It's so flat there and the buildings are so tall and glitzy.) It was also tough to say goodbye to Nevada, as we passed through Primm on our way over the state line. I have a gambling problem! I was winning! I was winning back all the money I lost the 1st night! Goodbye Spam machine! I miss you already!
And of course I was very sad to say goodbye to my good friends. I had a great time with those girlies. We need to do it again soon!
Boo hoo. Now I'm back at work, blogging away when I should be working. As usual.
I need a vacation...
