Follow-up

In yesterday's "Toilet" quiz, the men surveyed were all "college age." That explains it. Sorry about the lack of info!

To make up for it, I'll give you some multiple choice answers for today's "Who Said That?" quiz:

a) Charles Dickens

b) Irma Bombeck

c) Ernest Hemmingway

d) Mark Twain

e) Robert Frost

Things I Learned on the Toilet

When he's feeling amorous, how does a male sea otter show his affection to a female sea otter?

The Answers

Well, Frank Zappa was the author of yesterdays Who Said That? , and the answer to our fun game Things I Learned on the Toilet was "b) put a condom on right before they ejaculate." Who knew? But seriously, that really doesn't seem right, does it? That seems like an awfully high number. I'll try to find that article again to verify.

But now...

Who Said That?

"Classic". A book which people praise and don't read.

Ok, it's time for EXCITING GAME #2

Things I Learned On the Toilet

This game involves the factoids I glean from browsing the stack of magazines/bathroom readers while enjoying a private moment of "rest" at work.

What's the correct answer? (and bear with me for the primative multiple choice, but I don't know how to do a poll, and Stennie's isn't up right now to copy from)

During sex, 43% of men...

a) refuse to wear a condom

b) put a condom on right before they ejaculate

c) hold their breath

d) accidentally hurt themselves

e) none of the above

And now, for another exciting episode of...

Who Said That?

"Most rock journalism is people who can't write interviewing people who can't talk for people who can't read."

NOTE: These quotes are taken from The little book of Humorous quotations, compiled by Alison Bullivant. I wonder about someone whose great work is compiling a quotations book. But there you go. As you may have guessed, right now we're in the section titled "The Arts."

Second Thoughts

Is the quote game too hard? Too broad? Should I give you choices to select from, or should I give you free rein to make up funny answers, if you don't know the real one?

Help me, I just want to be popular.

Speaking of things that have been said...

I heard a snippet of a Mike Tyson interview on TV. The interviewer asked something like "What do you do when you're not boxing?" And he answered that he was a very well rounded person. He likes to do lots of things, besides box. "I like to get high, I like to spend time with my kids, I like to drink..."

I couldn't believe it! I turned to Andy and said "Did he really just say that? He likes to get high, spend time with his kids, and drink?!"

Sounds like the kind of quality time that should be a staple of every parent-child relationship!

And Now for Our Exciting NEW GAME....

Who Said That?

Identify the author of the following quote:

"All music is folk music. I ain't never heard no horse sing a song."

Ok ok ok

I'm well aware that nobody cares about the Sonics but me. (At least, of my faithful readers - and I mean each and every one of you three!)

So I'll stop for now.

New and exciting fun blog-o-rama wonder-game to come soon! (as soon as I think of one)

But meanwhile....read this.

Something I Never Thought I'd See

Gary Payton in Some Other Team's jersey. He's worn a Sonics jersey his whole 13 year career.

I dreamed that I went over to his house on Friday night. And then I dreamed that I had started dating Brent Barry last night. I guess I've been thinking about the Sonics a little bit too much lately...
