Beans, Beans for Every Meal

I know you can't tell anything's different. BUT!

1) I am not Krizzer.

Hee hee!

We're having more fun than you, even though we have to be quiet so we don't wake up the old ball and chain.

You may not know this, but Krizzer's hair is cute. And my varmints will not leave her alone, even though she is VERY BUSY.

Bean out.

On Vacation!

I know you can't tell anything's different. BUT!

1) I'm blogging on the weekend! What a surprise! HOW shocking! How can this be?

2) I'm not at work! I'm, in fact, at the lovely home of Jellintyponcho! And boy do we have a SURPRISE for you!

It's still in the works, and we're hoping to make it happen. But we just might have a NEW game for y'all. It's a little something we've been playing for years, but we're thinking of taking it to the big screen....

That's all I'm saying. But we'll keep you posted!

SUCH a TEASE!

Do Not Call.....EVER AGAIN (For five years)

All four of my readers will probably recall my long rant about "Out of Area" calls I've been receiving each day. Like, oh, 15 per day.

Well I just signed me that Federal DO NOT CALL list and hallelujah AMEN!

Please please please I hope this works!

Goin' Ta See the Town Mouse

Yipppeeeee! The deal is sealed and this Lil' Ol' Country Mouse is hitchin' up her wagon and goin' ta see her City-fied friend Lint (Jellybean to you, Poncho to me) for the weekend!

We're fixin' to be silly and strange and go for a bike ride in the sunny-shine tomorrow. We will probably sing nonsense at the tippity of our lungs. I reckon we'll even be mistaken fer lunatics runnin' amok, at least once. I'm bringin' my tent to camp in the back yard - that Poncho has VARMITS in her house, that set my nose to itchin' and my eyes to cryin' (and my evil thoughts ta thinkin....) - and my FAN-SEE, DEE-LUX di-gee-tal camra to record the event of our reunion.

Lordy, I must set my mind ta packin'. I hope them city-folk don't laugh themselves half to death starin' at my country clothes....

New Blogger

Well, here I am on the new blogger. Looks like the comments are going to be down for a while. SUCK! At least I can get IN to my blog to edit it again.

So, now, hmmmm. What have I been up to?

My brother was in town over the weekend (he lives in B-more) for a wedding, so I got to have a YUMMY dinner with him and my dad and step-mom at the Cliff House. A friend heard I was going and she said "Oooh, I love the Cliff House - have a Lemon Drop for me!" I said "ok" even though I've never had a Lemon Drop before. It was GOOOOD! Mmmm, new favorite!

I've started jogging the trail from Fairhaven thru Boulevard Park to Boundary Bay Bistro and back. It's a good long trek, I only actually JOG about 2 miles of it, the rest is walking to warm up and cool down. But it's tough for me and I feel good about it.

I've been playing with my guitar lots. I love it. Stennie, I've decided to name my amp "Roxy." (it's a Vox amp, so that just fit.) I'm probably the first person in the world to name their amp.

Which reminds me of a dream I had in college. I was just on the verge of waking up and I heard my roommate's voice say "You should name your feet. You should really name your feet."

Maybe I should?

I also had a dream the other night about a crab my brain invented called a "Raptor Crab" that has extremely long red sharp points (like claws) on its legs and screams when it attacks. It attacked this guy and killed him and cut one of feet off and then kept the leg bone to use as a weapon.

Loverly, no?

Andy's got me thinking about going back to school. Except I still owe around $20,000 for the last trip thru the hallowed halls. I've been thinking about a dental hygienest program, but it's another 20 grand! Maybe I should have thought of all this while I was having fun in musical theatre class and getting a BA that would be absolutely no use to me. Anyway, I've got to do something. I'm starting to realize I can't be this broke forever.

Bet, I thought of you. My friend Stef had a "stamp party," which I was unable to attend, but she did sucker me into buying some stamps out of her catolog which are SO CUTE! Just what I need, another pricey hobby! But I so love making things! I also bought a little hole-puncher which punches in the shape of a dragonfly. It is awesome. Am I a DORK or what?

Ah....lunchtime. Bye now!
