No Turning Back
I've done it. I just registered for the Danskin Triathlon. Now I HAVE to do it. After all, including the cost of the T-Shirt, I just dropped nearly 100 bucks on it!
And I'm very excited! This is going to be SO great for me. I know I'll be able to do it, the question is, how FAST will I be able to do it. I know I've got my work cut out for me. But that's a good thing. I'd rather die trying than die of clogged arteries from sitting on my ass all the time. AND I figure it's never going to get any EASIER to get my bod in shape, better get on it now before it gets any harder.
Taking this Biology class encourages me too, when I learn about all of the amazing and complicated systems that go into making up this machine that is Krizzer, I feel like I have a duty to keep the machine oiled and in working order. Otherwise I'm wasting this miracle.
ANYWAY!
For those of you who think a triathlon sounds cool but you just can't handle the idea of doing it all, you can also do it as a RELAY TEAM! I didn't know this when I started, but it's a great idea. That way, if you hate to run but don't mind the swimming, for instance, and you know a runner who doesn't want to bike and a biker who hates to swim, WELL THEN. You got yourself a team. I know that some of you out there ('Bean) fall into this category. Why not get a team together?
Guess I'd better go to the gym tonight!

New Comments
Well, maybe I was the last to know, but BlogOut is dead. And so are my comments.
WHICH MEANS! New commenting system, this one by HaloScan. We'll see how they work. It also means that all my old comments are gone. So for those of you who like to scroll through all the old comments and revist all the past hilarity, you're out of luck. Gone gone gone. Out with the old and in with the new!
I just hope these comments work better than the last ones!
NOW - GO OUT THERE AND LEAVE ME A COMMENT! I haven't had any feedback (except for JBean, thanks 'Bean. And quit flipping me off.) for a long long LONG time!

Monday Manners
From the chapter "In Dress and Personal Habits":
Don't use hair-oil or pomades. This habit was once quite general, but it is now considered vulgar, and it is certainly not cleanly.
Uh-oh.
